Who We Are

Established on October 10, 2023, in the vibrant state of Florida, Minority Doll Museum Plus, Inc. (MDM) originated as a personal hobby, blossoming into a non-profit celebration of legacies and careers. Immersed in cultural diversity, MDM showcases artistically designed dolls, each representing the lasting impact of famous minority women and offering attainable career choices.

We cater to a diverse audience, with our customers and visitors spanning from 11 years old and beyond. Our services are designed to meet the needs of both residents and tourists, extending our reach throughout the vibrant Orlando Metro area and across the entire state of Florida.

Company Statements

Our MISSION is to showcase artistically designed dolls of famous minority women.

Our PURPOSE is to highlight the legacies, contributions, and talents of these women.

Our GOAL is for others to be inspired by these women’s lives and successfully achieve their goals.

Vision Statement

Fostering empowerment and honoring the legacies of minority women through artistic representation, our vision is to create a world where each doll stands as a symbol of diversity, resilience, and inspiration. We aspire to amplify the voices of minority women, celebrating their stories and contributing to a future where their contributions are universally recognized and cherished.

The Museum’s History

What started as a doll-collecting hobby—admiring and honoring the history of minority women—grew into a museum. It was challenging to find dolls of famous minority women because their male contemporaries overshadowed them.

Therefore, while planning the Minority Doll Museum Plus (MDM Plus), it was decided to expand its collection to include dolls in various forms: action figures, ceramic statues, paper, plush, vinyl, and other artifacts and memorabilia.

We aim to showcase artistically designed dolls of famous minority women and highlight their legacies, contributions, and talents so they may inspire others to achieve their goals.

Our expanded exhibits include not only historical women but also dolls that represent attainable career choices for minority women from 20 career industries and dolls that depict individual and acceptable body images, all chosen to honor and support minority women.
